We welcome dogs, cats, birds, whatever. Pets must be FED OUTSIDE the units on the veranda. Clean up any bones etc from grounds immediately after feeding. Pets must be HOUSE TRAINED and FULLY VACCINATED. No puppies. They are allowed in the units but must NEVER be left UNATTENDED in the units. This results in your pet stressing, as they feel “dumped”, they panic, and damage to unit occurs. Pets MUST NOT be let out to wander the grounds. Supervise your pets’ toilet-time and PICK-UP when necessary. If your dogs are antisocial, please keep them inside, or well tethered. Excessive barking must be addressed. Dogs on beaches The Council has put some rules in place to make sure that dogs can be responsibly exercised on the beaches of the Eurobodalla Coast. Most areas are available on a “time-share” basis between those with dogs and those who would rather be on the beach without dogs. There are some very popular swimming beaches where dogs are prohibited. Exercise Areas Time-share access is available on some beaches (check signage) and adjacent reserves and other reserves, which are not prohibited by law eg national parks. Time-share access is available between 5pm and 9am (1 November to 30 April) and 3pm and 10am (1 May to 31 October). Animals must be under effective control (leashed) until they are within the nominated off-leash areas. Time share off leash exercise areas South Durras - northern section of beach beginning 100 m north of Durras Drive Bridge to Lakesea Caravan Park |
